On 4 August 2026, our team completed a combined curtains and flooring project at Sunshine Residences, Dubai. The work involved supplying and installing dark brown eyelet blackout curtains and Ash Wood LVT flooring in two bedrooms and the living room.
Because both products were being installed as part of the same interior update, we planned the work carefully around the room dimensions, existing finishes, furniture, and installation requirements. The aim was to give the apartment a coordinated finish while making sure both the curtains and flooring were properly fitted and ready for everyday use.
The customer contacted our team after deciding to update the flooring and window treatments in several rooms of the apartment. During the initial discussion, we went through the areas that required flooring, the preferred curtain style, and the overall look the customer wanted to achieve.
Since flooring and curtains both depend heavily on accurate measurements, we did not rely on approximate dimensions provided over the phone. We arranged a site visit, so our team could assess the actual spaces before confirming the final requirements.
This also allowed us to understand the existing conditions and identify anything that could affect installation.
During our site visit, we inspected the two bedrooms and living room where the LVT flooring was planned. We checked the floor areas, room dimensions, edges, transitions, and the condition of the existing surface before preparing the flooring requirements.
For the windows, we took measurements based on the actual installation points rather than estimating curtain sizes from the window dimensions alone. We checked the available space around the windows and determined the required curtain width and drop for the eyelet panels.
We selected the dark brown blackout fabric to create a warmer contrast against the interior, while the Ash Wood LVT provided a lighter wood-effect floor. We also considered how the flooring would flow visually between the rooms so the finished installation would look consistent rather than appearing like separate flooring sections.
Once the measurements and requirements were confirmed, we proceeded with preparation and scheduling.
On the scheduled installation date, our team delivered the required curtains and flooring to the property and began installation.
For the flooring, we prepared the rooms before laying the Ash Wood LVT. Each area was checked carefully during installation to maintain consistent alignment and a clean overall pattern. We worked around the room edges and other fixed areas to achieve a neat finish without leaving unnecessary gaps or uneven cuts.
The curtain installation followed the required measurements for each room. We installed the dark brown eyelet curtains, ensuring the panels hung correctly and moved smoothly along their curtain rods. We also checked the finished drop and positioning from different points in the rooms rather than considering the installation complete immediately after fixing the curtains.
After completing both parts of the project, we inspected the rooms for visible installation issues, checked the flooring edges and curtain alignment, and cleaned the work areas before handing the spaces back to the customer.
The completed project gave the two bedrooms and living room a noticeably more coordinated appearance. The Ash Wood LVT flooring introduced a warm wood-effect finish across the rooms, while the dark brown eyelet blackout curtains added contrast and a stronger sense of privacy around the windows.
From our installation team’s perspective, the most important part of the project was achieving clean finishing across two different types of work. The flooring needed consistent alignment and edge finishing, while the curtains required accurate measurements and proper hanging.
Both installations were completed on 4 August 2026, giving the customer a finished and practical update to the selected areas of their Sunshine Residences apartment.
