On 7th August 2026, our team completed 5-Layer Soundproof Curtains and Sisal Carpet Installation in a Dubai Hills Estate 2-bedroom apartment. The project involved two different interior requirements: installing 5-layer soundproof curtains in both bedrooms and fitting sisal carpet in the living room.
The client wanted the bedrooms to have better privacy, light control, and a more comfortable atmosphere. For the living room, the aim was to introduce a warmer flooring finish with natural texture. Based on these requirements, we supplied beige 5-layer soundproof curtains for the bedrooms and dark brown sisal carpet for the living area.
We managed the complete installation, from preparing the materials and checking the site to fitting the curtains, laying the carpet, and inspecting the finished work.
The project included two main installations. In the bedrooms, we installed 5-layer soundproof curtains in beige. The neutral color was selected to complement the existing bedroom interiors without overpowering the space.
For the living room, we installed dark brown sisal carpet. The natural texture of sisal gave the room a warmer and more grounded appearance, while the darker shade added depth and worked well with the surrounding interior.
Because the curtains and carpet served different purposes, we approached each installation according to the requirements of the individual room.
Before starting the actual installation, we checked the designated areas and reviewed the measurements. This was an important part of the project because both the curtain coverage and carpet fit needed to be accurate.
For the bedrooms, we checked the window areas and installation points to make sure the curtain hardware could be positioned correctly. We also confirmed the required curtain drop and width before fitting the panels.
In the living room, we inspected the floor area and confirmed the dimensions required for the sisal carpet. We planned the positioning carefully so the carpet would sit neatly within the designated space and maintain a clean finish around the edges.
Once the preparation was complete, we moved ahead with the installation.
We began with the two bedrooms. The beige curtains were prepared and fitted according to the measurements taken for each window. We installed the required curtain hardware first and then positioned the curtain panels.
Since these were 5-layer soundproof curtains, we paid particular attention to the overall coverage. A properly positioned curtain should cover the required window area without unnecessary gaps that can affect privacy, light control, and sound reduction.
After hanging the panels, we checked their alignment and made sure they moved smoothly. We opened and closed the curtains several times to ensure the panels were sitting correctly and that there was no unnecessary pulling or uneven positioning.
The layered construction also gave the curtains a fuller appearance compared with lightweight single-layer curtains. The beige finish kept the bedrooms visually soft while providing the practical benefits the client wanted.
We repeated the same inspection process in the second bedroom to maintain a consistent finish throughout the apartment.
After completing the bedroom curtains, we moved to the living room.
The client had selected dark brown sisal carpet because they wanted a natural-looking flooring finish with visible texture. Before positioning the carpet, we prepared the area and checked the floor dimensions once again.
We then positioned the carpet carefully within the living room. Our team paid close attention to the edges and corners because these areas are particularly noticeable once the installation is complete.
After placing the carpet, we checked the surface for folds, uneven sections, and movement. We also inspected the perimeter to ensure the carpet was sitting properly and had a clean transition around the installation area.
The dark brown tone created a stronger visual base for the living room, while the woven texture of the sisal added character without introducing a busy pattern.
Once both installations were complete, we carried out a final inspection of the apartment.
For the curtains, we checked the panel alignment, coverage, movement, and overall appearance. We made sure the two bedrooms had a consistent finish and that the curtains operated as expected.
For the sisal carpet, we inspected the positioning, edges, corners, and surface. Any minor adjustments required during the finishing stage were completed before we considered the installation finished.
We also cleaned the working areas and removed installation-related materials so the client could use the rooms immediately.
The completed project brought together two practical and decorative solutions within the same apartment.
The beige 5-layer soundproof curtains gave both bedrooms a more private and comfortable setting while maintaining a clean, neutral appearance. Their fuller layered construction also provided improved light control and helped reduce the amount of outside sound entering the rooms.
In the living room, the dark brown sisal carpet created a warmer and more natural appearance. Its textured surface added visual interest while the darker color helped anchor the room’s interior.
By completing both installations as part of one project, we were able to maintain a consistent level of workmanship across the apartment while tailoring each solution to the requirements of its space.
