On 14 August 2026, our team completed the Round and Wall-to-Wall Carpet Installation Project at Bluewater Residences, Dubai Marina. The place was a residential apartment.
- Round Carpet for the open-plan living room
- Light cream color selected for the living area
- Pastel floral Wall-to-Wall Carpet for the bedroom
- Precise measurement and carpet cutting
- Floor preparation before installation
- On-site positioning and fitting
- Final inspection of both completed installations
Because each carpet served a different purpose and used a different installation method, we handled the measurements, preparation, cutting, positioning, and fitting to meet each room’s requirements.
The open-plan living room required a round carpet rather than a conventional rectangular piece. This meant accuracy in both measurement and placement was important, as even a small positioning error would be noticeable against the surrounding floor.
We measured the designated living area before preparing the carpet to ensure the round shape fit the available space. The light cream color was installed as the central soft-furnishing element of the room, creating a defined living zone within the larger open-plan layout.
Before fitting, we checked the installation surface for debris, uneven areas, and other conditions that could affect how the carpet sat. Once the area was prepared, our installers positioned the carpet carefully and checked its alignment from multiple angles before completing the installation.
The bedroom required a different approach. Instead of defining a specific zone, the carpet needed to cover the floor across the room, so we installed a pastel-coloured floral wall-to-wall carpet.
Wall-to-wall Carpet Installation requires accurate room measurements because the carpet must be cut to follow the room’s dimensions while allowing for edges, corners, and fixed architectural points. Our team measured the bedroom before cutting to reduce unnecessary joins and achieve a clean perimeter finish.
The floral pattern also required additional attention during positioning. We aligned the carpet carefully so the printed design remained visually consistent across the installed area rather than appearing randomly oriented.
Our installation team completed the work through a controlled sequence to maintain accuracy and finish quality.
- Site measurement: We assessed both rooms and recorded the dimensions required for their respective carpet formats.
- Floor preparation: We checked the installation surfaces and cleared them of loose debris before fitting.
- Carpet Cutting: We prepared the carpet according to the measured dimensions, including the specific circular requirement for the living room.
- Positioning: Each carpet was placed carefully to maintain the intended layout and orientation.
- Edge fitting: The wall-to-wall bedroom carpet was fitted closely around the room perimeter for a neat finish.
- Pattern alignment: We checked the floral design during positioning to maintain a consistent visual flow.
- Final inspection: Both installations were reviewed for alignment, surface appearance, edges, and overall finish before handover.
The completed installation gave the apartment two distinct carpet applications suited to their individual spaces. The light cream round carpet established a defined seating area within the open-plan living room, while the pastel floral wall-to-wall carpet gave the bedroom a softer, more decorative floor finish.
By treating the circular living-room carpet and patterned bedroom carpet as separate installation requirements, our team was able to focus on the technical details specific to each application rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
