Floor Land completed a project for the installation of Wallpaper and Wall Panels in Tilal Al-Ghaf Villa, Dubai. The work covered the children’s bedroom, three bedrooms, and the living room.
The children’s bedroom received cartoon character wallpaper, creating a playful finish suited to the space. For the three bedrooms and living room, the client selected wood-finish wall panels to bring warmth and a natural look to the interiors.
Before recommending the materials, our team visited the villa to inspect the walls and take precise measurements. We checked the surface condition, wall dimensions, corners, openings, and areas requiring additional preparation.
These measurements helped us calculate the required wallpaper and wall panel quantities while reducing unnecessary joints and material waste.
During the consultation, we helped the client compare suitable colors, patterns, and finishes for each area. The goal was to keep the children’s bedroom visually engaging while giving the bedrooms and living room a warmer, wood-inspired appearance.
We also considered how the selected finishes would work with the existing furniture, room sizes, and natural light before finalizing the materials.
Our installation team arrived on schedule with the required tools and materials. Before starting, we protected the surrounding areas and checked the walls again to make sure the surfaces were suitable for the selected finishes.
We addressed any minor surface imperfections that could affect the final appearance before installation began.
For the kids’ room wallpaper installation, our team first prepared and cleaned the wall surface to create a suitable base. We then marked reference lines to keep the first sheet straight, as the alignment of the first panel determines how the remaining sheets sit across the wall.
We measured and positioned each wallpaper sheet carefully before fixing it to the wall. We aligned the pattern and edges, worked progressively across the surface, and pressed the material firmly to remove trapped air and prevent visible bubbles or creases.
At corners, edges, sockets, and other openings, we made precise cuts so the wallpaper followed the wall’s shape without leaving uneven gaps. We carefully aligned and pressed down seams to create a clean, continuous appearance.
For the wall panel areas, we checked the wall dimensions and panel positioning before fixing each section. We aligned the panels from one section to the next, paying close attention to vertical lines, corners, joints, and transitions around openings.
Our team worked progressively across the installation area rather than fixing panels without checking the alignment of the adjoining sections. This helped maintain consistent lines and a balanced finish throughout the room.
Once the high-quality wallpaper and wall panels were in place, we inspected the finished surfaces from different angles and under the room lighting. We checked the edges, seams, corners, joints, and areas around switches and openings. The team completed any small finishing adjustments before cleaning the work areas and removing installation debris.
The completed villa had a noticeably different character in each space. The wallpaper gave the children’s bedroom a playful focal point, while the wood-finish wall panels added warmth across the three bedrooms and living room.
The carefully aligned wallpaper and wall panels created clean, finished surfaces that complemented the villa’s existing interiors.
