Motorized Blackout and Sheer Curtains Installation in Park Horizon Dubai Hills

On 12th July 2026, Floor Land completed another curtain supply and installation project at Park Horizon, Dubai Hills. The order was to install motorized blackout and sheer curtains in the bedroom. For the living room, the customer wanted sheer curtains. 

For the complete site inspection and window measurement, we visited the apartment on the same day. We took our sample catalog with us so the customer could feel the texture and color before making any decision. After the interior inspection, we discussed the curtain color, design, and fabric choice. 

For the living room sheer curtain, we suggested linen fabric in muted olive green with a ceiling-mounted motorized track and wave-fold header. For the bedroom, we recommended a motorized double-track system featuring wave-fold sheer and blackout curtain. The customer wanted a chocolaty brown color for the blackout panel and an off-white color for the sheer. We noted down every requirement of our customers to minimize the chances of mistakes. 

After finalizing all the curtain elements, we precisely measured the windows from three different angles. We used a digital meter to measure the windows instead of a manual one. 

Before the curtains customization, we showed curtain mockups to the client for better understanding and decision. Once we got the approval, we sent details for curtain customization.

To maintain our quality standards, we have an in-house team for customizing the curtains. They cut, stitched, and hemmed the drapes as per the given measurements and selected header styles. After the curtain customization, we reached the apartment for same-day installation services. 

We started by installing a sheer curtain in the living room. Our fitters followed each step with utmost care and precision: 

1. Installed the concealed ceiling-mounted wave track securely, ensuring perfect alignment for smooth curtain operation.
2. Attached the wave gliders evenly along the track to create consistent, flowing wave folds.
3. Hung the sheer curtains carefully onto the wave carriers, making sure the fabric was evenly distributed across the track.
4. Adjusted the curtain spacing and wave formation to achieve uniform pleats and a clean, elegant appearance.
5. Performed a final inspection by testing the curtain movement, securing all fittings, and ensuring the sheers glided smoothly across the entire track.

After the living room curtain installation, we went to the bedroom for layered drape fitting: 

1. Installed the concealed motorized double track securely to the ceiling, ensuring accurate positioning for both the sheer and blackout curtains.
2. Mounted and connected the motor unit to the track, then completed the electrical setup for reliable and quiet operation.
3. Hung the sheer and blackout curtains onto their respective wave carriers, ensuring both layers moved independently without obstruction.
4. Calibrated the motorized system by setting the opening and closing limits, followed by testing the remote control for smooth operation.
5. Conducted a final inspection by aligning the curtain waves, checking the motor performance, and confirming both curtain layers opened and closed seamlessly.

Once we had fitted all the curtains in their designated spaces, we asked the customer to check the look and functionality of each drape. He was extremely happy and satisfied with the final results.
