Soundproof Curtain Project at Golden Mile 1, Palm Jumeirah

We have completed soundproof curtain installation at Golden Mile 1, Palm Jumeirah. The customer wanted us to install this curtain in the bedroom for noise insulation. The project was completed on 14th July 2026. 

As usual, we started our project with a free site visit. At first, we carefully checked the window type and analyzed the interiors. Then our expert used the laser distance meter to measure the windows at three different angles. We brought a sample catalog and showed it to the customers for material analysis. Our experts also recommended some of the best styles, samples, and designs for the soundproof curtains. 

Our in-house team stitched the soundproof curtain as per the customer’s requirements. Pencil pleat header style and full-length drapes were crafted with reinforced straight box stitch. The layers were arranged this way: 

• 1st Layer: Decorative Fabric
• 2nd Layer: Acoustic Felt
• 3rd Layer: Mass-Loaded Vinyl
• 4th Layer: Insulating Fiber
• 5th Layer: Blackout Backing 

For quick, on-time installation, we customized the curtains in a few hours.

• We installed a heavy-duty ceiling-mounted curtain track designed to support the weight of the multi-layer acoustic curtains.
• We securely fixed reinforced mounting brackets along the ceiling to provide stable support for the curtain track.
• We aligned and secured the aluminum curtain track, ensuring smooth operation across the full window opening.
• We attached the pencil pleat curtain hooks evenly along the heading tape to create consistent, uniform folds.
• We hung the five-layer acoustic curtains onto the track, ensuring complete coverage across the window area.
• We positioned the curtains with full overlapping coverage at the center to minimize gaps and improve sound reduction.
• We adjusted the pencil pleats and curtain fall, then tested the track to ensure smooth opening and closing.

After finalizing the installation, we checked the functionality of the curtain and cleaned the space before leaving.

• We asked the customer to take a look at the installed curtain. He closed the curtains and observed 30% noise reduction and 95% light blockage. He was really happy and satisfied with the final result.
