Project Details

Floor Land completed a full soft-furnishing apartment renovation project in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Dubai, on 1st August 2026. The client wanted to refresh the apartment with coordinated wallpapers, carpets, and curtains across two bedrooms, the living room, home-based office, and entryways. We selected different materials, colors, and patterns for each area while keeping the overall interior balanced.

The bedrooms feature dark brown wall-to-wall carpets, floral wallpapers, and layered white sheer and mud-brown blackout curtains. The living room has grey carpet, beige blackout curtains, and abstract wallpaper, while the office uses dark blue carpet tiles, white sheers, and matching wallpaper.

How We Got the Order

The project started when the client contacted our team to discuss renovating several areas of the apartment. During the initial conversation, we learned the client wasn’t looking for a single flooring or window-treatment solution. They wanted the luxury carpets, curtains, and wallpapers to work together while still giving each room its own character.

After discussing the required areas and preferred styles, we arranged the next step with our team. We planned an on-site visit to inspect the rooms, understand the existing interior, take accurate measurements, and recommend suitable products based on each space’s use and design.

Consultation and Free Measurement

Our team visited the apartment for a free site measurement and consultation. We measured the bedrooms, living room, home office, and entryways individually because each area required different carpet, curtain, and wallpaper specifications.

During the consultation, we discussed colors, patterns, fabric options, carpet types, and the overall look the client wanted. For the bedrooms, we recommended a combination of dark brown carpet, floral wallpaper, and layered curtains. For the living room, we selected grey carpet, beige blackout curtains, and an abstract wallpaper design. For the office, we planned dark blue carpet tiles, white sheer curtains, and a coordinated wallpaper color.

We also checked the window dimensions and installation requirements to ensure the curtains would fit properly and provide the required coverage.

Product Customization and Delivery

Once the designs and measurements were approved, we customized the selected materials to meet each room’s requirements. We cut the wall-to-wall carpets for the bedrooms, living room, and entryway, and selected and prepared dark blue carpet tiles for the home office.

We also prepared the curtain fabrics according to the measured window sizes. We used white sheer fabric with mud-brown blackout curtains in the bedrooms, beige blackout curtains in the living room, and white sheer curtains in the office.

The selected floral, abstract, and matching wallpapers were prepared for their respective areas. Before delivery, our team checked the materials to ensure the colors, quantities, and measurements matched the approved selections. We then coordinated delivery to the apartment so the installation could proceed efficiently.

Installation Work

Our installation team completed the work area by area. We first prepared the surfaces and spaces before installing the selected materials.

In both bedrooms, we installed the dark brown wall-to-wall carpets, followed by the floral wallpapers and layered curtains with white sheers and mud-brown blackout panels. In the living room, we installed the grey wall-to-wall carpet, beige blackout curtains, and abstract wallpaper.

For the home office, our team fitted the dark blue carpet tiles, installed the white sheer curtain, and completed the wall with the selected matching wallpaper. The entryways were finished with grey carpet to create a practical and visually connected transition between the main areas.

Throughout the installation, we paid attention to carpet edges, wallpaper alignment, curtain positioning, and clean finishing around each installation area.

Final Outcome

The completed renovation gave the apartment a more coordinated and finished interior without making every room look identical.

  • Bedrooms: Dark brown wall-to-wall carpets, floral wallpapers, and layered white sheer and mud-brown blackout curtains created a warm and comfortable setting.
  • Living Room: Grey carpet, beige blackout curtains, and abstract wallpaper gave the space a clean and contemporary appearance.
  • Home Office: Dark blue carpet tiles, white sheer curtains, and matching wallpaper created a focused workspace with coordinated colors.
  • Entryways: Grey carpet provided a simple, practical finish and connected the different areas of the apartment.
  • Overall: Each room has its own color and design while the carpets, curtains, and wallpapers work together as one interior scheme.

Our team completed the project from initial consultation and free measurement through product preparation, delivery, and final installation, ensuring every selected element met the apartment’s requirements.
