On 2nd August 2026, our Floor Land team completed a luxury flooring and wall-finishing project in a Downtown Dubai apartment. The customer hired us to supply and install wooden flooring and abstract wallpaper across the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room. He wanted a more coordinated interior, so we worked with him to bring the two finishes together rather than treating the flooring and walls as separate elements. From the initial consultation through installation and final inspection, our team handled the work across all three rooms.
The scope covered both floor and wall finishes in three areas of the apartment. Our team coordinated the wallpaper installation and wooden floor installation so that each room had a consistent, finished appearance.
The project started when the customer contacted our team through our official WhatsApp number. He had previously seen wooden flooring we installed in a friend’s apartment and liked the overall finish. Based on that experience, he reached out to discuss installing a similar flooring solution in his own Downtown apartment.
During our initial conversation, he also explained that he wanted abstract wallpaper for the apartment. What initially began as a discussion about wooden flooring therefore developed into a combined flooring and wallpaper project covering the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room.
After the initial discussion, we arranged a site visit to the apartment. Our team inspected the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room to understand the existing conditions before finalizing the installation approach.
We assessed the floors and walls and discussed the appearance the customer wanted in each room. We also considered how the two finishes would work together. Rather than selecting the flooring and wallpaper independently, we helped coordinate the choices so the finished spaces would feel connected.
We also took the necessary measurements and discussed the installation requirements with the customer. Once the materials and overall plan were finalized, our installers prepared to complete the work room by room.
Our installation process across the apartment focused on thorough surface preparation, precise fitting, and seamless execution for both the abstract wallpaper and wooden flooring.
In the living room, we prepared the wall surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion before carefully aligning the abstract wallpaper panels, paying close attention to panel joins to maintain design continuity across the wall. For the flooring, we prepped the existing surface, accurately measured and cut boards around fixed elements and edges, and ensured clean transitions before conducting a final inspection.
In the bedroom, we prepped the walls and aligned wallpaper panels consistently, checking edges and joints throughout installation rather than at the end. We then installed the wooden flooring with precise perimeter fitting, creating a clean finish that complemented the abstract wallpaper without competing for visual attention.
Finally, in the kids’ room, we prepared the wall and carefully aligned the wallpaper pattern across all panels, with ongoing checks of corners and seams. After inspecting the finished wall surface, we prepared the existing floor, measured and trimmed the wooden flooring accurately along room edges, and maintained a consistent finish throughout before handing the space back to the customer.
After the installation, the customer was pleased with the wooden flooring and particularly liked how it worked alongside the abstract wallpaper. He also appreciated the finished appearance across the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room. It was especially relevant that he originally contacted us after seeing our flooring work at his friend’s apartment, and the completed project matched the type of finish he was looking for in his own home.
The completed wooden flooring gave the apartment a consistent floor finish across the three rooms, while the abstract wallpaper introduced a separate visual element to the walls. Using both finishes throughout the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room helped create a more coordinated interior rather than treating each surface independently.
For this project, accurate preparation, positioning, cutting, alignment, and finishing were important to achieving the final appearance. Our Floor Land team completed the supply and installation work in the Downtown Dubai apartment on 2nd August 2026.
The result was a completed apartment with newly installed wooden flooring and abstract wallpaper throughout the project areas.
