We recently completed a combined abstract wallpaper installation and 3-seater sofa upholstery project for an apartment in Al Barsha, Dubai. The customer wanted to refresh several rooms without replacing the furniture or doing a major renovation.
The work included installing abstract wallpaper in the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, along with reupholstering a 3-seater sofa in dark brown leather. We handled the project from the initial consultation and site measurement through sofa collection, installation, upholstery, delivery, and final inspection.
We visited the apartment to assess the walls, room dimensions, existing interior, and sofa condition. During the visit, we measured the bedroom, living room, and kitchen walls where the wallpaper was planned.
We also carefully inspected the sofa, including its existing Sofa Upholstery, cushions, edges, and overall structure. The frame was suitable for continued use, so reupholstering was a practical option instead of replacing the sofa.
We discussed the leather finish with the customer and selected a dark brown leather that would complement the apartment’s existing furniture and create a richer appearance.
After completing the measurements and assessment, we provided the customer with the quotation and confirmed the work schedule.
Once the project was confirmed, we arranged the collection of the 3-seater sofa from the apartment. We handled the sofa carefully during removal and transportation to our workshop to avoid unnecessary damage.
At the workshop, we removed the old upholstery and prepared the sofa for the new leather covering. We checked the condition of the internal structure and worked on the areas that required attention before fitting the new material.
The dark brown leather was then measured, cut, and fitted to the sofa according to its shape. We paid particular attention to the corners, seams, edges, and seating areas so that the finished upholstery would look neat rather than simply covering the old material.
While we upholstered the sofa, our team installed the wallpaper in the apartment.
The project covered the bedroom, living room, and kitchen. Before installation, we prepared the wall surfaces and checked them for uneven areas, dust, or other conditions that could affect the wallpaper finish.
We measured and aligned each wallpaper panel before fixing it to the wall. Particular care was taken around corners, edges, and areas where different sections met. We also checked the pattern alignment as we progressed to maintain a consistent abstract design across the walls.
Working room by room allowed us to keep the installation organized and minimize disruption to the apartment.
After completing the upholstery work, we transported the finished sofa back to the apartment. We placed it in its original position and checked the overall finish under the room’s lighting.
We inspected the leather covering, seams, corners, cushions, and visible edges to make sure everything was properly fitted.
At the same time, we walked through the wallpapered areas with the customer and checked the bedroom, living room, and kitchen. We looked for proper alignment, clean edges, and a consistent finish across all installed sections.
The customer was pleased with the transformation and particularly liked how the dark brown leather changed the appearance of the existing sofa without requiring a replacement.
He also appreciated having the wallpaper and upholstery work coordinated as part of the same project. Seeing the completed work in person gave him the opportunity to check the finish throughout the apartment before the project was closed.
The completed project refreshed the apartment’s interior without changing its existing furniture layout. The abstract wallpaper added a distinctive visual element to the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, while the dark brown leather gave the 3-seater sofa a cleaner and more substantial appearance.
By combining wallpaper installation with sofa upholstery, we updated both the walls and the main seating area while letting the customer keep the furniture he already had.
From the initial WhatsApp inquiry to the site visit, free measurements, sofa collection, workshop upholstery, wallpaper installation, delivery, and final inspection, our team managed the complete process from start to finish.
