On 20 August 2026, our team completed an Eyelet Curtains Installation Project at Dubai Creek Harbor for a residential apartment. The work covered three bedrooms, where the requirement was to create a clean, coordinated window treatment without making the rooms feel visually heavy.
The apartment had a modern interior, so we selected a practical custom curtain combination that matched the existing finishes while improving light control and thermal performance.
Before finalizing the eyelet curtains, we considered the bedroom interiors, available window space, and the required level of light control. The selected medium-weight linen-polyester blend gave us the natural appearance of linen while providing a more structured finish suitable for regular use.
We used a solid fine slub weave rather than a heavily patterned fabric. This kept the curtains understated and allowed them to work with the existing bedroom décor instead of competing with it.
The integrated thermal dimout backing was also important for the bedrooms. It helped reduce incoming daylight and added another layer between the interior and the window without requiring a separate lining.
For this apartment, we used an eyelet header because it suited the clean, contemporary character of the bedrooms. The curtain panels were finished with 40mm matte black metal eyelet rings, paired with 28mm matte black metal poles.
We kept the finish consistent across the hardware so the curtain rods and eyelets appeared as one coordinated element. The matte black finish also provided a subtle contrast against the softer curtain fabric.
Our team measured all three bedrooms before production. We checked each window individually rather than assuming that every opening had identical dimensions.
We measured the required curtain width, finished drop, and pole positioning while considering the surrounding wall space. This lets us prepare the panels to the actual window conditions and avoid unnecessary adjustments during installation.
We also checked the curtain pole positioning so the eyelet panels could move smoothly without catching on nearby surfaces.
Once the curtains and hardware were ready, we returned to the apartment for installation. We first positioned the poles according to the agreed measurements and secured the brackets properly before hanging the curtain panels.
We threaded the 40mm eyelets directly onto the 28mm poles, creating the characteristic evenly spaced folds of an eyelet curtain. We then checked the alignment and fall of each panel across all three bedrooms.
We paid particular attention to the finished drop. We adjusted the positioning so the curtains sat consistently and looked neat when fully closed or open.
After completing the installation, our team inspected each bedroom individually. We checked the pole alignment, bracket stability, eyelet movement, curtain drop, and overall finish.
We also opened and closed each curtain panel to make sure the fabric moved smoothly along the poles. We made any minor positioning adjustments before we considered the installation finished.
The completed window treatments gave all three bedrooms a coordinated look while maintaining the simple, modern appearance we were aiming for.
We completed the Dubai Creek Harbor apartment project on 20 August 2026. The combination of medium-weight slub-weave fabric, thermal dimout backing and matte black eyelet hardware gave the three bedrooms a balanced finish with practical light-control benefits.
From measurement through final inspection, our team handled curtain preparation and installation with attention to each bedroom’s specific requirements.
