This project covered our Layered Curtains and Vinyl Flooring Installation in JBR Apartment. The client wanted to give their apartment a fresh and modern feel. They also wanted better control over sunlight and a floor that is easy to clean. Our team handled the full job, from delivery to final installation. We planned each step with care so the work would be smooth and stress-free for the client.

Our first step was a site visit. We met the client at the apartment and walked through each room with them. We listened to what they liked and what they wanted to change. JBR apartments get a lot of strong sunlight, especially in the afternoon. The client found it hard to rest in the bedroom and work in the home office because of the bright light. We installed sheer and blackout curtains in the bedroom and the home-based office. Each window got two layers. The first layer is a brown blackout curtain. The second layer is a white sheer curtain.

The brown blackout layer blocks out harsh sunlight. This helps the client sleep well, even during the day. It also keeps the rooms cooler, which can help reduce cooling costs. In the home office, it cuts screen glare during video calls and long work hours. The warm brown color adds depth to the rooms and goes well with the wooden furniture.

The white sheer layer lets in soft, natural daylight. It keeps the rooms bright while still giving privacy from outside. The client can use the sheer alone during the day and close the blackout at night. This simple setup gives them full control over light at any time.

For the heading style, we used a wave (S-fold) heading on a double ceiling-mounted track. This style creates smooth, even folds across the full width of each curtain. It gives the windows a clean and elegant look that suits modern apartments. The double track lets each layer move on its own. This means the client can open or close one layer without touching the other. We also made the curtains floor-length to give the rooms a taller and more polished feel.

We installed vinyl flooring in the kitchen and the living room. Vinyl is a great choice for busy areas like these. It resists water, spills, and stains, making it ideal for the kitchen. It is also soft and quiet underfoot, so it feels comfortable in the living room.

Before laying the new floor, our team prepared the surface. We cleaned the base, checked it for any uneven spots, and made sure it was fully dry. A good base is important because it helps the vinyl last longer and stay flat.
