Our team completed a layered curtains & apartment painting project in Jumeirah Village Circle, covering two bedrooms. The customer wanted a softer, more natural look for the bedrooms, so we paired ivory blackout curtains with light brown sheer curtains and selected a light sage paint color for the walls.
Because both the curtains and wall color would affect the overall appearance of the rooms, we handled the selection, measurements, visualization, painting, and curtain installation as one coordinated project.
We started with a site visit to inspect both bedrooms and take accurate measurements. For the curtains, we checked each window opening, available fixing area, and the position of furniture around the windows before confirming the curtain dimensions.
We also inspected the bedroom walls before painting to identify areas that needed preparation. Taking measurements and checking the rooms in person helped us coordinate the curtain requirements with the painting work, rather than treating them as two separate jobs.
Before finalizing the colors and curtain combination, we provided free samples and 3D visualization for the customer to review the proposed look.
For the curtains, we compared the ivory blackout layer with the light brown sheer layer to make sure the two fabrics worked well together. For the walls, we reviewed the light sage shade alongside the selected curtain colors.
This gave the customer a clearer idea of how the finished bedrooms would look before we proceeded.
Once the curtain specifications were confirmed, our team prepared and installed the curtain setup in both bedrooms.
We used the ivory blackout layer as the main privacy and light-control layer, with the light brown sheer layer adding a softer finish during the daytime. We checked the curtain drop, alignment, and overall fall after fixing the tracks and hanging the fabrics.
We also made sure the curtains opened and closed properly without interfering with nearby furniture or other bedroom elements.
After preparing the rooms, we carried out the painting work in both bedrooms using the approved light sage color.
Our team protected the areas that were not being painted and prepared the wall surfaces before applying the paint. We worked carefully around corners, edges, and other fixed elements to keep the finish clean.
The light sage shade gave the bedrooms a more muted, natural appearance and worked with the warm tones of the light brown sheers and ivory blackout curtains.
Once the main work was complete, we went through both bedrooms for final checks.
We inspected the painted surfaces for visible marks or uneven areas and checked the curtain installation from different angles. We also made sure the curtain layers were hanging evenly and that the blackout and sheer fabrics moved smoothly.
Any small finishing points identified during this inspection were addressed before we considered the project complete.
The two bedrooms now have a coordinated finish built around light sage walls, ivory blackout curtains, and light brown sheers. The blackout layer provides a practical window covering for the bedrooms, while the sheer layer keeps the overall look lighter during the day.
By handling the painting and curtains together, our team was able to coordinate the colors, measurements, and finishing details across both rooms for a consistent result.
