Roller Blinds and Stair Carpet Supply and Installation Project at Dubai Hills Estate

Floor Land completed a roller blind and stair carpet project at Dubai Hills Estate on 11 August 2026. The work covered grey roller blinds for the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, along with light brown carpet with dark brown borders for the staircase.

The project required careful coordination between window treatments and stair carpeting so that both finishes worked naturally with the apartment’s interior. The customer also reviewed material samples before confirming the final colors.

The work began with a site visit to assess the windows and staircase before finalizing the materials. For the Roller Blinds, the team considered the available window space, mounting area, and the dimensions required for each opening.

The team assessed the staircase separately to determine the carpet requirements and ensure the selected finish would suit the shape and dimensions of the steps. The consultation also covered the preferred colors, helping the customer narrow down the final combination.

Samples were provided before the order was confirmed, allowing the customer to view the actual colors and finishes within the apartment.

The grey roller blind sample was considered against the existing interior, while the light brown carpet and dark brown border were reviewed for the staircase. This gave the customer an opportunity to assess the materials under the apartment’s actual lighting conditions rather than relying only on catalog images.

After the selections were confirmed, the roller blinds and Stair Carpet were prepared and delivered to the apartment.

Before fitting, the materials were checked against the project requirements. For the blinds, this included confirming the correct dimensions and room allocation. The stair carpet was also checked to ensure the supplied material and border combination matched the customer’s approved selection.

The grey roller blinds were fitted in the bedroom, living room, and kitchen. Each window was treated according to its individual dimensions rather than assuming that one opening would match another.

Accurate positioning is important with roller blinds because uneven mounting can affect both the appearance and operation of the blind. The team therefore paid attention to alignment, level positioning, clearances around the window, and the final drop of the blind.

Using the same grey finish throughout the three rooms created a consistent appearance while keeping the window treatment visually simple.

The staircase received light brown carpet with dark brown borders. Stair carpeting requires more precise fitting than a standard flat-floor carpet because the material needs to follow the individual steps and maintain a consistent appearance along the staircase.

The carpet was measured and prepared according to the staircase dimensions, with attention given to the edges, step transitions, and alignment of the darker borders. The finished carpet followed the staircase cleanly, with the dark border providing a defined outline against the lighter center.

The completed apartment combined grey roller blinds with a contrasting stair carpet in light brown and dark brown. The blinds provided a consistent window treatment across the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, while the bordered carpet gave the staircase a warmer and more structured finish.
