On 19 August 2026, our team completed the Rubber Interlocking Tiles and Sheer Curtains Installation at Bur Dubai. The customer wanted to create a dedicated exercise corner in the living room while also adding softer window coverage to the apartment. We installed rubber interlocking tiles in the exercise area and fitted ice blue sheer curtains in the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room.
The combination worked well for the space. The rubber tiles gave the exercise corner a practical surface, while the ice blue sheers added lightness without making the rooms feel closed in.
The customer contacted team Floor Land after deciding to add an exercise corner to the living room and update the window treatments throughout the apartment. They saw our rubber flooring work at their relative’s villa.
During the initial discussion, we understood that the flooring needed to work specifically within the exercise area rather than across the entire living room. The customer also preferred sheer curtains in an ice blue shade to keep the rooms bright and give the windows a softer finish.
We arranged a site visit so our team could check the flooring area and take accurate window measurements before confirming the products.
Our team visited the apartment in Bur Dubai to inspect the exercise corner and measure the windows in the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room.
For the rubber flooring, we checked the available floor area and the shape of the exercise corner so we could plan the interlocking tiles properly around the space.
We then measured each window individually for the sheer curtains. Taking the measurements on site helped us account for the actual window widths, heights, and fitting requirements instead of relying on approximate dimensions.
We also discussed the curtain drop and overall appearance with the customer before finalizing the order.
Once the measurements and product selections were confirmed, we arranged delivery of the rubber interlocking tiles and ice blue sheer curtains to the apartment.
We checked the products before installation to make sure the materials matched the confirmed selections. We also prepared the curtains based on the measurements taken during our site visit.
Our team coordinated the delivery and installation so the flooring and curtains could be completed as part of the same project.
We started with the rubber interlocking tiles in the living room exercise corner. We prepared the floor before positioning and connecting the tiles. We fitted each tile tightly against the next to create a stable, continuous surface across the designated exercise area.
The interlocking format also allowed us to define the exercise space without changing the flooring throughout the rest of the living room. After completing the flooring, we moved on to the window treatments.
We installed the ice blue sheer curtains in the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room. We fitted the curtains according to the measurements taken during our site visit and checked their drop and alignment after hanging. The ice blue shade gave all three rooms a consistent look while still allowing natural daylight to pass through.
Before leaving the apartment, our team checked both parts of the installation. We inspected the rubber tiles to make sure the interlocking joints were properly connected, and the exercise area had a neat, even finish. For the curtains, we checked the hanging position, alignment, drop, and overall appearance from different points in each room. We also made sure the work areas were left clean after the installation.
The finished apartment had two noticeable improvements without requiring a major change to the existing interiors.
The living room now had a clearly defined exercise corner with rubber interlocking flooring, giving the customer a practical surface for workouts. At the same time, the ice blue sheer curtains brought a lighter, softer appearance to the living room, bedroom, and kids’ room.
Because the same curtain shade was used across the three spaces, the window treatments felt coordinated while still keeping each room bright and open.
