For this project at Greens Al Thayyal 4, Dubai, we supplied and installed layered curtains for the bedroom and living room. The homeowner wanted a clean, contemporary window treatment that provided privacy during the day while offering better light control when needed.
We selected a combination of Royal Cobalt blackout curtains and ivory sheer curtains, finished with tailored pinch pleat headers. The deep blue blackout fabric adds a refined accent to the neutral interiors, while the ivory sheers soften incoming daylight without making the rooms feel closed in.
The project started with the homeowner looking for a practical window treatment that would complement the existing minimalist interiors. Rather than selecting curtains based only on color, we considered the room layout, window dimensions, amount of natural light, furniture placement, and the desired level of privacy.
The homeowner chose a layered curtain arrangement because it provides two functional layers in one installation.
