Sheer and Blackout Curtains Installation at Al Jazi 2, Dubai

On 24th July 2026, the Floor Land team completed a sheer and blackout curtains installation at Al Jazi 2, Dubai. The place was an apartment, and we needed to install layered curtains in the bedroom, living room, and home-based office. 

First, we visited the site for an on-site consultation. Before the discussion, we analyzed every room. Our main objective was to check the natural sunlight, interior, and window style. Then we measured each window and noted the measurements. 

Our experts first understood the customer’s curtain requirements. Then, they gave their opinion regarding the best color, design, fabric, and header style. After an hour of discussion, the customer decided to install layered pencil pleat curtains on a ceiling-mounted double track. For the color, he wanted ivory for the sheer curtain and mustard yellow for the blackout layer. 

Before finalizing the order, we first showed the fabric sample to the customer. When he was satisfied with the fabric quality, we shared the quotation, including delivery and installation. The customer agreed to the provided quotation, and we booked the order and started the curtain customization. 

Once the custom customization was finished, we delivered the complete curtain sets directly to the apartment at Al Jazi 2, Dubai. Our installers began the installation by securely mounting the double tracks directly into the ceiling across the windows in the living room, bedroom, and home office. This ceiling-flush setup created the high-ceiling, continuous drop we planned during consultation. 

Next, we meticulously hung and dressed the pencil pleat layers. We hooked the airy ivory sheer curtains on the inner track for daytime light control and the rich mustard yellow blackout drapes on the outer track for total nighttime privacy.

To achieve a flawless finish, we carefully dressed each gather into uniform pleats and steamed out every minor crease from delivery. I then thoroughly tested the double tracks to ensure the runners glided smoothly and silently without catching. The end result was a beautifully layered, functional space, and the client was absolutely delighted with the transformation.
