We recently completed the Carpet Delivery and Installation Project at Apartment,Al Satwa, Dubai, and it turned out to be one of our most satisfying jobs this year. The client wanted fresh, soft flooring across three bedrooms and the living room. They wanted a custom carpetthat felt comfortable underfoot but still looked neat and modern. After a short discussion, we agreed on a cut pile carpet with a checkerboard pattern, fitted wall to wall in every room.

Project Overview
Understanding What the Client Needed
Our first step was visiting the apartment. We walked through each room with the client and listened to how they use the space. The living room is where the family spends most of their evenings, so it needed a carpet that could handle daily foot traffic. The bedrooms needed something quiet, warm, and relaxing. The client also mentioned that they liked a clean, organized look without anything too busy.
The checkerboard cut-pile wall-to-wall carpet met all these needs. Cut pile has soft, upright fibers that feel plush when you walk on them. The checkerboard design adds a subtle pattern that gives the floor character without taking over the room. Since the client wanted full coverage, wall to wall installation was the natural choice.
Measuring Every Room With Care
Good carpet work always starts with accurate measurements. Our team measured each bedroom and the living room by hand, room by room. We checked the length and width at several points because apartment walls aren’t always perfectly straight. We also noted door frames, corners, wardrobe edges, and any small recesses.
With a patterned carpet, measuring is even more important. A checkerboard design must line up properly, or the squares will look crooked along the walls. We planned the layout so that the pattern would run straight and stay balanced in each room. We also worked out where any joins would go, keeping them away from the main walking paths and the center of the living room.
Cutting the Carpet to Exact Size
Once the measurements were final, we prepared the carpet at our workshop. We cut each piece to the exact size of its room, with a small allowance for on-site trimming. We followed the checkerboard lines so each piece matched its neighbor perfectly. Every piece was then rolled, labeled by room, and packed for delivery. This saved time on installation day, as the team knew exactly which roll belonged where.
Smooth Carpet Delivery
We delivered the carpet to the apartment on the agreed date and time. Al Satwa is a busy area, so we planned our route and arrival to avoid delays. Our team carried the rolls up carefully and protected the lift, corridors, and door frames along the way.
Precise Wall-to-Wall Installation
Before laying anything, we cleaned the subfloor and checked it for dust, bumps, or loose spots. A clean, level base helps the carpet sit flat and last longer. We then fixed gripper strips around the edges of each room and laid a quality underlay to add comfort and reduce noise.
Next, we rolled out the carpet and lined up the checkerboard pattern with the main wall. Using a knee kicker and power stretcher, we stretched the carpet tight to prevent ripples or loose areas. We trimmed the edges neatly along the skirting and tucked them in for a clean finish. Where two pieces met, we joined them with seaming tape and matched the squares carefully, so the seam is almost impossible to spot.
We installed proper trims at the door thresholds to protect the carpet edges and allow a smooth step between rooms. We worked one room at a time, keeping the rest of the apartment usable for the family.
Final Checks and Clean Up
After the installation, we walked through every room with the client. We checked the pattern alignment, seams, edges, and doorways. Everything sat flat, straight, and firm. We then vacuumed the new carpet and cleared away all offcuts, packaging, and tools. The client moved their furniture back in the same day.
The Result
The apartment now has a warm and stylish look from the living room to each bedroom. The checkerboard cut-pile carpet adds a soft feel and a tidy, modern touch throughout the home. The client told us that the rooms feel quieter and more comfortable, especially in the evenings.
This project shows what we care about most: careful measuring, accurate cutting, and installation done right the first time. If you are planning new carpets for your home or apartment in Dubai, our team is ready to help from the first measurement to the final finish.
